I was recently at user-defined project work and I wanted WordPress, redirect to a custom payment page when someone sends a contribution to the review. It was a simple step and quite disappointed that there was no WordPress plugin to get this job done. It was in PHP would I made in a fly have. Finally, I have decided me with itsy bitsy code code.

After beating all day my head on the wall, I found this simple code that does the work. Add this code in your theme function.php file or create your own plugin.

Users are by default set to "Contributor" role.

Note the hook Edit_posts, is executed when a user sends a contribution to the review (in preparation). This is for role contributor. For the role of "Author" leads the hook Publish_posts, if authors send to revise posts.

I have a separate payment page, which i had links for PayPal and 2checkout. The code checks to ensure that only the users see the "Contributor" role (not Admins) to payment page, on the submission of a contribution to the review are forwarded.
